Allen "Cowboy"

Allen Carroll has been cultivating mushrooms for 12 years. While studying Agronomy at Auburn University, Allen recognized a lack of commercial mushroom laboratories and few mushroom farms operating in Alabama. At that time farmers in Alabama bought mushroom spawn and fruiting blocks from out-of-state and overseas laboratories. Additionally, there was no mushroom cultivation expert on staff at Auburn University or the Alabama Cooperative Extension System (ACES). Allen recognized the need to provide a hub for mushroom agriculture in Alabama and built Fungi Farm.

Taylor "Nurse"

Taylor is a psychiatric registered nurse and president of the International Association of Psychedelic Nursing. She leads Hope Network and serves as Fungi Farm's "Mushroom Queen."
