Allen is a board member of the Alabama Mushroom Society and has cultivated mushrooms for more than 10 years. While studying Crop, Soil, and Environmental Science at Auburn University, Allen conducted research on mycorrhizal fungi and alternative crop development. Allen became interested in combining his love of mushroom cultivation with supporting local, alternative Alabama agriculture, so he built Fungi Farm.
Taylor is a psychiatric registered nurse and founder of the International Association of Psychedelic Nursing. She facilitates holistic psychedelic medicine sessions at Hope Network Health and serves as Fungi Farm's "Mushroom Queen" working on product development, social media management, website design, and more.
